How It Works

1. Add the premade book cover or covers to your cart, including your new text information in the “my message box” on the individual product page (see step 2 for what to send.) There is also a contact form on the bottom of most pages on this site if you have any questions before or after your purchase. Payment through the shopping cart goes through Paypal (you may pay with most credit cards through Paypal.) The cover will be removed from our site and is now exclusively yours!*

2. Let us know your new text (using the “my message” box or via contact form.) Send:

– Your Title

– Author Name

– Any additional text you would like added (eg. series name or bestseller line)

-You may also request other changes, like a font style or color change, an overall hue change or eye color change. It can’t hurt to ask if the change you want is included! If you would like to add or swap out an image, that would be considered a semi-custom option and an additional fee applies

3. Our aim is to get you comps with your text within 24 – 48 hours. Up to 2 revisions are allowed. No refunds are given once work has started. Once you give the go ahead we will supply you with two final jpegs of the ebook cover:
– One larger 300 dpi jpeg at 1800 x 2700 pixels that will work with most major online booksellers (this size may change as booksellers change their requirements.)

– One smaller 72 dpi jpeg at 600 x 900 pixels for social media use, to share with bloggers, and for you to use to promote your book online.

– You may use the 300 dpi jpeg of the cover to design your own print cover or hire us to design a complete print cover (including spine and back cover to KDP specs) that will match the fonts, colors and look of the ebook cover.

We will retain the PSD file of your cover in case you decide to hire us to create a print cover, a sequel cover or any other graphics at any time in the future. We offer great pricing on those services! We retain the right to use your completed cover for self-promotion on the portfolio page of this site and on our social media pages – we are happy to tweet, retweet, post and share posts on Twitter and Facebook to promote your book!

*Like most designers and authors, we use royalty-free stock photos on our covers. We cannot guarantee another author or designer won’t use one of more of the same images

Remember – any book cover can become the start of a series!

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

FORMAT

All of our ebook covers are designed in the popular 6×9 format. If you prefer a different format size (eg. wider 8 x 10 or 8.5 x 11 format particularly popular for non-fiction books) let us know and we will supply you with that size instead. However, if you require more than one format size or decide to change your format size after the fact, we do charge a $25 time fee to change the format as it does require a bit of work.

STOCK PHOTO RIGHTS

We do not supply you with the PSD file because we cannot give you access to the individual stock images without breaking our licensing agreement with the stock photo agencies. All images are licensed for up to 250,000 downloads in the case of eBooks or 250,000 printings for a printed book (some book covers are licensed for up to 500,000 downloads or printings, depending upon which stock company the stock images came from). All images come from reputable royalty-free stock photography sites. If you start getting close to 250,000 downloads it is your responsibility to let us know so that we can purchase an extended license (and congratulations!)
